LOTHAR WALTER GROSS Lothar Walter Gross passed away at the Brentwood Care Centre on May 20, 2007 at the age of 91 years. He is survived by his sister-in-law Herta Gross of Germany and numerous nieces and nephews in Germany. Lothar is predeceased by his loving wife Alva and his brothers, Fritz and Walter. He was born in Germany and came to Canada in 1954. He retired to Calgary in 1978 after a career in Food Service including as an instructor at the Red River Community College in Winnipeg, Manitoba. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alberta Heart and Stroke Foundation, (100-119 14th Street NW, Calgary, AB, T2N 1Z6). A Memorial Service will be held at Leyden's Funeral Home Chapel of Remembrance (17 Avenue and 2 Street SW) on Wednesday, May 23, 2007 at 3:00 p.m. To forward condolences, visit www.leydens.com.
