ROSE MARIE GELLER (HAIDER)

Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROSE MARIE GELLER (nee HAIDER) Peacefully on Sunday, May 13, 2007 with family by her side Rose passed away at the Charleswood Care Centre. She was 94 years young. Remaining to forever cherish Rose's memory are her daughters, Alana (Jack), and Gail (Paul); grandchildren, Jason, Jerret, Lee and Jamie; three great-grandchildren; one brother Eddy; and four sisters, Elizabeth, Phyliss, Florence and Laverne. She was predeceased by her youngest daughter Candice Mackenzie. Born in Vibank, Saskatchewan Rose was the second eldest of 10 children. As a young lady music was her vocation. She played piano and accordion. Later, Rose formed her own all girls band and also a three piece band that played at Weddings and Socials. Rose became the organist and choir Director at St. Patrick's Church and Franciscan Friary. Rose loved swimming at Sargent Park Pool where she went two or three times a week and was also an active member at the West End Senior Centre. In her later years, Rose enjoyed travelling, especially on cruise ships. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, May 24 at 11:00 a.m. in the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Roman Catholic Church, 4588 Roblin Boulevard at Grant Avenue. The family would like to send a special thanks to the staff and care workers at the Charleswood Care Centre who kept Rose comfortable in her last days. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Rose's memory to the Charleswood Care Centre, 5501 Roblin Boulevard, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3R 0G8. KEEP SMILING!
