STELLA KUSMACK It is with heavy hearts that we announce the death of our beloved mother, grandmother and sister, Stella, on May 21, 2007 at the Park Manor Personal Care Home. Stella was born in Hazelridge on December 26, 1917, the daughter of Katherine and John Kuzyk. Stella was predeceased by her husband Mike and son Richard. She is survived by her son Bob, her daughter-in-law Lanette and grand-children, Rob Kusmack and Heather Albert. Stella is also survived by her brothers, Steve, John and Ernie Kuzyk and her sisters, Mary Mularski, Jenny Kozak, Ann Tchir, Sonia Sikomas and Florence Kuzyk, as well as many other relatives and close friends. Stella spent her life on the farm in Sapton before retiring to Columbus Villa in Transcona and finally to Park Manor Personal Care Home. Stella was a hard worker and a caring person who always put the needs of her family ahead of her own. She took great joy in cooking and caring for her family and no one ever left her home empty-handed. Stella was very proud of the hundreds of volunteer hours she provided to the communities in which she lived. We cherish the memories of our Mother and will miss her dearly. Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a little, I will set you over much; enter into the joy of your master. Matthew 25 The Liturgy of the Word will be held on Friday, May 25, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at the Transcona Funeral Chapel, 1800 Day Street. Interment will follow in the St. Michael's Parish Cemetery, Cook's Creek. Father Owen Steeves officiating. Flowers gratefully declined. In lieu of flowers, if friends so wish, a donation may be made to the Park Manor Personal Care Home as a thank-you for their loving care. Transcona Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements.
