Condolences & Memories (1 entries)

  • I was sorry to just now read of the passing of Ted Sheridan having passed 6 years ago now. I remember Ted when he was our neighbor on Bradstock Rd. in Weston, Ontario, back in the late 50's and early 60's. He built a fantastic wooden boat in his garage. A very personable and nice man. My mother, father and I visited the Sheridan family after they moved to Rivers, Manitoba, and Ted was stationed at the airbase there. I got to ride in the boat he had built on Lake Winnipeg and never forgot him, his boat or his family. I know he would not have realized how much I paid attention to this, but I did and never forgot it. I went on to restore two boats and am almost finished building a cedar strip (wooden) canoe in my garage. It reminds me of Ted's boat project..
