JAMES WINNING August 24, 1920 - May 22, 2007 Peacefully on May 22, 2007, James Winning passed away at the Health Sciences Centre, after a lengthy illness. Jim is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Dorothy, his sons, Kent (Linda), Gary (Evica), Craig (Debbie), Scott (Laurie) and his daughter Marla. He is also survived by his much loved grandchildren, Melissa, Alexis (Jason), Kyle (Courtnay), James, Jennifer, Ryan, Lisa, Christen, and one great-grandson Caden, who will miss their grandpa very much. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Jim was predeceased by his son Bruce Cameron in infancy, his parents, James and Elizabeth, his siblings, Jean McCombe, Margaret Viscount, Ellen Wilson, Betty Rendall and his brother Peter. The family would like to thank all of the doctors and nurses at the Dialysis at the Health Sciences Centre for their care over the many years, also Vital Transit, and the many drivers who looked after him so well and all the homecare workers who took such good care of him. At Jim's request, there will be no funeral. A private family memorial is planned.
