HILDA LINDA BAUER (nee OKEMOW) August 1, 1952 - May 21, 2007 Peacefully and suddenly, it is with deep regret that we announce the death of a loving wife, mother, grandmother Linda on May 21, 2007 at Seven Oaks Hospital at the young age of 54 years old. Born in God's Lake, MB, she spent most of her life in Winnipeg with her husband of 29 years. She is survived by her husband Lloyd Bauer; daughter Loretta Bauer; five grandchildren, Jordan, Michael, Daniel, Joshua and Isiah; sisters, Carrie and Rita; brother Billie; along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents, daughter Valerie, sister Lillian and brother Able. Prayers and viewing will be held on Friday, May 25, 2007 from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. at the Aboriginal Funeral Chapel at 724 Selkirk Ave., Winnipeg. Funeral service to follow on Saturday, May 26 at 10:00 a.m. at the same location. There will be no burial as Linda's wish was to be cremated. We would like to thank the Aboriginal Funeral Chapel for being so compassionate and helpful. Also to the many family and friends for their show of love and support. My mom was a loving woman, even with all her aches and pains, she still loved life and especially her five grandchildren. Mom, I will miss going to bingo with you, going for drives and just hanging out with you and the boys. I LOVE YOU so much and miss you already. See you again Mom, wait for us in the future. Sadly missed and always in our hearts.
