ANTONINA KOWCUN (TEENIE) Peacefully on May 22, 2007 at Seven Oaks Hospital, Teenie passed away at the age of 90 years with her niece and nephew at her side. Teenie is survived by one sister Mary of Winnipeg, one brother-in-law Joe of Surrey, BC, sisters-in-law, Claudette and Hertha both of Winnipeg. She will be sadly missed by numerous nieces, nephews and many good friends Teenie was born on May 26, 1916 in St. Norbert, MB. She married in 1948, lived and farmed in the Kelvin District RM of Portage la Prairie, MB then moved to Winnipeg in 1966. She was predeceased by her husband Ben in 1995. Teenie had a heart of gold and thought of others before herself. Teenie enjoyed her three years that she had at the Canadian Polish Manor and her final precious years at Middlechurch home. Special thanks to the B2 staff at Middlechurch Home for their great care. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 25 at the St. Andrew Bobola Roman Catholic Parish, 541 Marion Street, with Father Sebastian Gacki and Father Jan Spyrka officiating.
