MARY CARRIERE (nee CZARNY) 1946 - 2007 Peacefully on May 12, 2007 at St. Boniface Hospital Palliative Care Ward, Mary passed away after a courageous battle with cancer. Many thanks to the staff on the ward for their compassion and caring. Mary was predeceased by her father Izydor Czarny, mother Maria Czarna (nee Palka) and two brothers, Antoni and Adam Czarny. Mary leaves to cherish her memory, sons, Chris and Anthony Carriere, granddaughter Nadia Flett-Carriere, partner Steve Craig, ex-husband Jerry Carriere, niece Janice Beer and family, Marty and Cami, and numerous other family and friends. Mary was a home and hearth mother, totally dedicated to her family. Her door was always open, welcoming all in need: family, friends and animals of all sorts. Mary was the consummate caregiver! Flowers gratefully declined. Donations may be made to the Humane Society. Cremation has taken place. Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 2, 2007 at 1:30 p.m. at the Zion Apostolic Church, 305 Machray Ave. in the West wing. Please enter through parking lot doors.
