ELLEN IRENE WAY (nee MONK) Peacefully on May 17, 2007 at St. Boniface Hospital, Ellen passed away at the age of 91 years. Born on November 14, 1915 in Wawanesa, Manitoba, she attended school at Buttram and high school in Ninette, Manitoba. She met her husband Cliff while working in Ninette at the Sanatorium. They were married June 5, 1940. After residing in various communities in Manitoba, they retired from Regina to Brandon in May 1971. Ellen moved to Winnipeg in August 2003. She will be lovingly remembered by son Rick, daughter-in-law Rosa-Lynne and grandson Brett. She was predeceased by husband Cliff in 1981, brothers, Norman in 1994, William in 2001 and sister Bessie in 2002. The family wishes to thank the Palliative Care staff for their compassionate care. Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 5 at 11:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street with Rev. Arnold Kratz officiating. Flowers are gratefully declined.
