MARION ELEANOR FOSTER (nee MCLELLAN) Born December 2, 1927 Daughter of Myron and Jennie McLellan; sister to Edith and Ruth; beloved wife of Fred (Fearless) Foster; loving mother of Susan and Stephen; proud grandmother of Jason, Jennie (Jamie) and Tracey; mother-in-law to Shirley Foster and Karel Beyer; Aunt Mimi to Bryan, Marilyn, Debbie Hodgson, Wayne and Ted Cheale. On May 24, 2007, at Riverview Health Centre, Marion passed from this life after a courageous fight to be reunited with her parents and sisters. Marion was born in Winnipeg, loved her parents so much she lived her entire life on Collegiate Street, four houses away from her parents. Marion worked briefly at Eaton's but her love, passion and focus was raising and caring for her family. Everyone that met her loved her. She was small in stature, but few saw her incredible inner strength, determination and that Scottish stubbornness. Those of us who did could only love, admire and respect her. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death. I will fear no evil: for thou art with me Special thanks to Grace Emergency and the Riverview Health Centre, Palliative Care Unit. In keeping with Marion's wishes, there will not be a memorial or funeral service. Memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army Divisional HeadQuarters 500-55 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3C 1L8. This is the way it should be. Celebration not sadness. No more pain for me.
