HELEN KRYSKO (nee SORTISOHN) June 27,1924 - April 29, 2007 Born in Kaltschinowka, Ukraine to a German family that moved back to Germany in 1945. She immigrated to Canada in 1952, settled in Winnipeg where she met and married Stanley Krysko in June, 1958. She received her Masters Degree from the University of Manitoba and enjoyed teaching languages and debating with her students in Winnipeg Schools. She and her husband settled in White Rock for their retirement years. Helen is survived by her husband Stanley, nephews, brother-in-law and sisters-in-law. Interment service took place on Wednesday, May 2, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Valley View Memorial Gardens, Surrey, BC.
