WILLIAM (BILL) ALBERT REEVES 1921 - 2007 On Friday, May 18, 2007, Bill passed away at the Grace Hospital at the age of 85 years. Remaining to forever cherish Bill's memory are his wife Eva (Vass) of 53 years of marriage; daughter Phyllis (Guillaume Larocque); grandchildren, Curtis, Christine and Karissa; son John; sisters-in-law, Nellie and Irene (Joe Meda); as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Betty; and brother Raymond. Bill retired from the St. James School Division No. 2 after 17 years of service. Between 1939 and 1944 Bill served overseas. In 1967 he served the Cameron's Highlander for five years in the reserves. He also worked for Trans Canada Airlines as a mechanic and Grinell Pipes and Fittings. Some of Bill's favourite pastimes included fishing, fixing up old cars, going to car shows and spending time at Caddy Lake in The Whiteshell with family. Bill enjoyed going out for Saturday breakfast with his longtime buddy Jimmy and Ziggy for 15 years. In compliance with Bill's wishes, no formal funeral service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bill's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 200 - 6 Donald Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3L 0K6, or the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3C 2B7.
