ARLENE JOWETT September 5, 1936 - May 25, 2007 After a lengthy battle with heart problems she has passed on and gone to heaven. She was predeceased by her father Joseph Wood; mother Rose Wood-Ball; brother Russell Wood; son Rob (Jib) Jowett; father-in-law Jim Jowett; brothers-in-law, Bill Ewen, Willie Anderson; sister-in-law Rose Wood and step-father Jim Ball. She is survived by her best friend and husband Lloyd Jowett; mother-in-law, Millie Jowett; brother-in-law Ron Jowett; nephew Shawn and niece Melisa; her siblings, Edna Ewen, Melvin Wood, Richard (Mavis) Wood, Carl (Bonnie) Wood, Arnie (Ruth) Wood, Maxine (Cecil) Elliott, Margaret (Ed) Bogacki and extended family; her children, Diane Froome (Claude), Rick (Shirley) Froome, Valerie (Doug) Nelson, Lorraine Giberson (Billy), Arlene-Peanut (Darren) Holmes, Cheryl Froome (Neil), Duane Froome (Sherri) and Darrin Jowett (Jackie), also 21 grandchildren and their spouses and 16 great-grandchildren. Honourary son Darrell Holmes and daughter Darlene McGuire. A celebration of her life will be held at the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, 433 Main Street, Stonewall, MB on Friday, June 1, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation and Diabetes Foundation.
