Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALBERT EDWARD WEAKLEY January 20, 1927 - May 28, 2007 (BIG AL) Suddenly, but peacefully, on Monday, May 28, 2007, Albert passed away at Health Sciences Centre at the age of a young 80! Albert will be sadly missed by his wife Phyllis; his son Dennis (Carol); daughter Brenda (the late John Gair), and son Tim (Barb); grandchildren, Dustin, Adra, Will, Hillary, Erin and Zach; great-grandchildren, Jessica, Madison, Gwenn and Logan; sisters, Gladys, Mae and Joyce, and his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his first wife Josephine; his parents, Frank and Jonina; sister Kay and son-in-law Johnny. Albert spent his entire life in Winnipeg. Throughout his career he worked at Canadian Pacific, Ashdowns, GSW and Camco. Albert swept Phyllis off her feet with his charm and they spent many years together enjoying each other's company. Albert loved hunting and fishing, and for many years was involved in amateur radio (VE4APA) and was famously known as Rubber Ducky . After retirement he became very involved with home computers. Recently Albert celebrated his 80th Birthday at his home with family and friends. Albert will be missed for his unique sense of humour and for the love of his family. Out of respect for Albert's wishes, a Celebration of his Life will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 2, 2007 at Neil Bardal Funeral Home, Aubrey Street at Portage Avenue (entrance on Aubrey Street).
