SYBIL RUBY (nee MOORE) Passed peacefully away at the Grace General Hospital, Winnipeg, on May 25, 2007, Sybil Ruby, aged 97 years. Predeceased by her husband Gordon Ruby (1983). Leaving to mourn with fond memories her loving daughters, Elizabeth, Winnipeg, and Sylvia, Montreal; brother Howard Moore (Mae), Conception Bay South, NF; also left to mourn are her cherished nieces and nephews in St. John's, Grand Falls, North Bay, Toronto and Calgary. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue, on Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service to be held from Barrett's Chapel on Friday, June 1, 2007, at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. A memorial service in memory of Sybil will be held at the Grace General Hospital Chapel, Winnipeg, MB, at a time to be announced. No flowers by request.
