MARGARET MCLURE (BROWN)

MARGARET MCLURE (nee BROWN) Peacefully on May 31, 2007, Margaret passed away at Meadowood Manor at 88 years of age. She was predeceased by her husband Garth; and her youngest son Richard; her parents, Alfred and Annie; brother Jim and sister Betty. Margaret is survived by her sons, John (Lynne), Peter (Gloria); grandson Michael (Kelly); granddaughter Kristen (Terry); great-granddaughter Ammanda and great-grandson Ryder. Margaret was born and raised in St. Vital where she resided for her entire life. She was an avid sports fan. She enjoyed curling with the St. Vital Curlettes and lawn bowling at the Norwood Lawn Bowling Club. During their retirement, Garth and Margaret enjoyed touring North America with the Wandering Wheels. At Margaret's request there will be a private family service. Special thanks to the nursing staff at Meadowood Manor where Margaret received exceptional care while she resided there for four years.
