Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCLARA BERTA HICKS Peacefully, on Thursday, May 24, 2007, at Golden Links Lodge, Clara Berta Hicks passed away at the age of 84 years. She was predeceased by husband William James Hicks on January 10, 1977. She is survived by daughter June Lennox; son Dennis Hicks (Diane); four grandchildren, Heather, Bruce, Shannon and Shawn; five great-grandchildren, Crystal, Cody, Candice, Ivy and Otis, and one great-great-grandchild Emily. Clara was born in Vermillion, Alberta, on May 28, 1922, to loving parents Marie and Otto Winkler. She married William James Hicks on February 15, 1938. Mom will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Thanks to the 2nd floor nursing staff at the Golden Links Lodge. A memorial service will be held at Neil Bardal Inc., 984 Portage Avenue (Aubrey Street entrance), on Thursday, June 7, 2007, at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Thomson In The Park Cemetery.
