RODNEY HOFFORD It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Rodney James Hofford, a loving husband, fabulous father, loyal brother, and honest neighbour and friend. Never one to give up without a fight, Rodney took his last breath peacefully on June 1, 2007 after struggling for three months with pancreatic cancer. Rodney was blessed to have his family by his side as he slowly slipped from the pain here on earth, and fell into the loving arms of his family on the other side. Rodney leaves behind his wife Wendy (Olsen), and children, Ryan and his fiancée Amy Goran, Teri and Cori. He also said good-bye to his older brothers, Wesley and Trevor Hofford, and their families. He was predeceased by both parents, Max and Vivian Hofford. He will forever be remembered as a man whose life was the definition of love, family, farming and dignity, and the seeds of wisdom and integrity that he instilled within his wife and children will continue to grow. A memorial for Rodney will be held later on this month in the town of Pilot Butte for friends and family. Exact time and date have yet to be set, but please contact Cori Hofford at c hofford@hotmail.com if you are interested in attending. In lieu of flowers, Rodney's family requests that donations be made to the Regina Palliative Care Inc., as a thank-you to the amazing doctors and angelic nurses who gave their everything to make sure he enjoyed his final weeks with his family. Arrangements are entrusted to Regina Funeral Home (306) 789-8850. The Regina Funeral Home wishes to offer our sincere apologies on behalf of the Hofford family for incorrect information that appeared in a previous obituary notice.
