JOSEPH GLEN HOWARD PAKOO July 8, 1935 - June 2, 2007 Peacefully, at his residence, Howard Pakoo aged 71 years passed away. He leaves to cherish his memory his daughters, Claudette, Josie and Christine; his best friend Mary; mother Olive Pakoo; brothers and sisters, Florence Malo (Louis) of Powerview, Vera Contois (Joe) of Vernon, BC, Lloyd (Mary Lou) of Winnipeg, Roderick (Catherine) of Powerview, Greta Malo of Pine Falls, Iris Houston (Joe) of Pine Falls, Lucille Malo of Winnipeg, Kelvin (Margaret) of Lockport, Mark (Pam), Neil (Kim) of Traverse Bay, as well as numerous nieces and nephews, and special friends, Butch and Roger. Howard was predeceased by his parents, Ethel and Glen William; brothers, Archie, Tim; sisters, Jeanie, Jenny and Deanne, and nephew Dwight Malo. Friends may pay their respects on Wednesday evening, June 6 at the home #28 Louis Riel Dr. (behind Broadlands Mall), Powerview, Manitoba. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 7, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. from the Notre Dame du Laus Roman Catholic Church, Powerview, Manitoba with Fr. James Gray presiding. Viewing will be one hour prior to service at the church. Honorary Pallbearers will be Tim Pakoo, Michael May, Tylor Houston, Jonathan Fontaine, Adam Tom and Glen Malo. Active Pallbearers will be Glen Pakoo, Roddy Pakoo, Dwayne Houston, Richard May, Clifford Houston and Philip Tom. Services will terminate at the Church with cremation to follow.
