VERNON ERNEST PENNER Vern Penner, born August 4, 1941 to Peter E. and Kay (Klippenstein) Penner, died unexpectedly June 2, 2007 at his farm in New Bothwell, Manitoba. Vern was predeceased by his sister Lorna, mother Kay, brother Jones and father Peter. He is survived by his wife Anne, son Sheldon (Joyce Klassen), daughter Sharon (George) Bueckert; grandchildren Jessica and Alexander. He is also survived by two sisters and three brothers. Viewing will take place at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 150 Penfeld Dr, Steinbach on Wednesday, June 6 at 7:00 p.m. with a devotional at 7:30 p.m. The funeral service will be held Thursday, June 7 at 11:00 a.m. at the Emmanuel Evangelical Free Church, 360 McKenzie, Steinbach.
