Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANDREW CAMPBELL CRAIG July 6, 1916 - June 5, 2007 It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of our beloved Andy, at home, surrounded by his loving family. Born and raised in Winnipeg, he left home in 1937 to enlist in the R.C.A.F. He was predeceased by his parents, Andrew and Madeline Craig; his sisters, Kay (Malcolm), Jessie (Cliff), Helen (Len), Isabell (George), Lily (Bob), and Alice Craig, and his beloved daughter Joanne Binder. He leaves to mourn his wife of 65 years, Marcia; son Campbell; daughter Carol Scott; granddaughters, Julie (Tim), Jill and Carley; grandson Craig Scott; great-grandchildren, Adam, Liam and Emma, as well as many nieces and nephews. Andrew was a happy and contented man with a great sense of humour, enjoying playing the piano, card games with friends, bowling, watching hockey and solving crossword puzzles. We were able to keep Andy with us during his long illness; thanks for the care Andy received from each and every home care worker, and to the Palliative Care nurses, especially Jennifer, and to Dr. Gooi for his care and concern. Thanks to our friends and neighbours for their support. Thanks to our niece Barbara Michaelchan (Peter) who was always there for us. A memorial mass will be held on Friday, June 8, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Marguerite Bourgeoys Chapel, 2235 Silver Ave., celebrant will be Father G. Killen. A reception will follow at the church hall. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Grace Hospital Foundation. Rest in peace, dearest, until we meet again. Arrangements entrusted to: Chapel Lawn Funeral Home 885-9715
