SHIRLEY ANNE OKRAINEC (nee RENTZ) December 7, 1942 June 6, 2007 It is with much sorrow our family wishes to announce the passing of our wife, mother and grandmother at Seven Oaks Hospital. Shirley will be missed by her husband of 43 years, Leo; sons, Larry (Tracee and grandson Kodi) and Michael (Lorie); mother-in-law Lena Okrainec; sisters, Joan Legault (Ray) and Eleanor Topham (Bruce); brother Elmer Rentz (Virginia); sisters-in-law, Louise Rentz, Pat Rentz, Adeline Cherneski and Lorraine Pacaluko (George); brother-in-law Bert Chunn, and nieces, nephews and god-children too numerous to mention. Shirley was predeceased by her infant daughter Crystal; parents, Phillip and Hilda Rentz; father-in-law Andrew Okrainec; brothers, Bill Rentz and Ken Rentz; sister Doreen Chunn, and brother-in-law Roy Cherneski. Our deepest thanks for the care shown by the staff of Seven Oaks Hospital, especially the dialysis ward. Prayers will be said on Friday, June 8 at 8:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Saturday, June 9 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Josephat's Ukrainian Catholic Church, 590 Alverstone Street, with Rev. Fr. Nestor Yakiwchuk presiding. Service will terminate at the church with cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Shirley's memory to the Kidney Foundation of Canada. Cropo Funeral Chapel 586-8044
