TATJANA (MATUSEWYCZ) KICELUK (nee MORGUNENKO) Peacefully, on June 7, 2007, Tanya passed away at Golden Links Lodge. Mom Baba will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her daughters, Helen (Ray) Clement, and Natalia (Glen) Olafson; grandchildren, Robert (Stephanie), Scott (Nicole), Grant Clement, and Amber Olafson; great-granddaughter Kate Clement. Tanya was born on December 14, 1920 in Tarnopol, Poland. During the war she married Anatole Matusewycz and had their daughter Helen in Salzbury, Austria. In 1948, after hardships during the war, they decided to immigrate to Canada, eventually settling in Winnipeg in 1950, where their second daughter Natalia was born. Mom was predeceased by her husband Anatole in 1964. In 1976 she married her second husband Michael Kiceluk. They were married over 20 years when Michael died in 1998. Tanya loved life to the fullest and enjoyed her special times with her family and friends. She especially enjoyed her time spent at the cottage in Victoria Beach. She loved to fish and introduced her grandchildren to that sport. She also took great pleasure in gardening, sewing, crocheting and cross stitching. She stitched basket of poppies for all her family and closest friends, and that will forever be cherished by us. Mom loved to travel, spending summers at the cottage and winters in warm climates. She has been to Ukraine two times to visit family. Michael and mom have travelled to Vancouver, Hawaii, Mexico and her favourite, Cuba, where she continued to vacation every winter until Michael's death, and her health began to deteriorate in 1999. Tanya was a kind and generous person who showed great love to her family. She took special pride, interest and enjoyment in the accomplishments of her family. The family would like to express their sincere thank you to the entire staff at Golden Links Lodge for their outstanding care and kindness of our mother during her short stay. Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations may be made in Tanya's memory to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 5 Kent St., Winnipeg, MB R2L 9Z9. A private graveside service will be held in All Saints Cemetery. Mom, Baba , you will be missed but forever remembered in our hearts and prayers.
