Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROBERT (BOB) ROSS After a brief illness, Bob passed away at the age of 79 on June 9, 2007. He is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years Shealagh; sons, Bruce (Lorraine), Craig (Debbie), David (Donna); grandchildren, Michael, Karen, Stephen (Jenny) and Lisa. Born and raised in Winnipeg, Bob worked as a lineman for Manitoba Telephone System for 34 years until his retirement in 1983. He was an avid golfer, curler, and bowler and enjoyed participating in and watching all sports. The family wishes to extend its heartfelt thanks to the Staff of Oakview ExtendiCare for their special care and thoughtfulness. Memorial service will be held on Wednesday June 13, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd (across from the Royal Canadian Mint) with a gathering of family and friends to follow.
