EVELYN BEATRICE SCOTT CAMPBELL AYERS It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our Mother, Evelyn on June 9, 2007. She went peacefully, with her family by her side. Evelyn was born November 28, 1914, in St. Boniface, MB. She grew up in Winnipeg and graduated from Nursing School at General Hospital in 1940. Evelyn married Jack Ayers who became an Anglican Minister after serving in the Second World War. They shared a dedication to the Church. Evelyn and Jack had four children, Clinton (Deanice), Frances Ann, David (Cathy) and Susan (Chris). They spent time in Atikokan and Calgary, finally settling in Winnipeg. Evelyn will be lovingly remembered by her eight grandchildren, David and Angela Ayers, Pearl, Clayton, Grace and Quinn Fleming, and Daniel and Lisa Ayers. She also had four great-grandchildren Cody, Alex, Taylor and Jackson. Evelyn loved spending time with her family. Evelyn had an appreciation for the Arts. She particularly enjoyed music and sang in the Winnipeg Senior's Choir for many years. She also enjoyed reading, bridge and conversation. We love you and miss you. Donations may be made in Evelyn's honour to The Calvary Place, 1325 Erin Winnipeg, Manitoba R3E 3R6 whose staff provided loving care for her Thank-you!
