LORI LYNN COCHRANE August 2, 1972 - June 10, 2007 After a short, courageous battle with cancer our precious Lori along with her unborn baby girl, Renee, passed into the spirit world where she will be joining her Mother Gladys and Mother-in-law Joyce, Grandparents Ivene and George Sinclair; Albert and Ethel Cochrane. Lori leaves to mourn her beloved Husband Kurt Russell, her precious children Rachel Lee and Dustin Kurt, her Father Oliver, Sister Terri, Brother Oliver Jr., Aunts Barbara Morriseau, Agnes (Nap) Cochrane, Sharon (Wa-Wa) McCorrister, Sharol (Ron) Kohoko, Alana (Benjo) Cochrane, Nancy (Jim) Trimble, Muriel O'Brien, Gladys Bear, Violet Cochrane, Uncles Clarence Sinclair, Dave (Mary) Sinclair, Barry (Nancy) Sinclair, Garry Sinclair, Father-in-law Ian Russell, Sister-in-law Leslie (Ron) Russell, Brother-in-law Darren (Scarlett) Russell; as well as numerous cousins, friends and other extended family members. Lori's greatest goal in life was to be the best Mom which she achieved with the highest standard. She loved the lake, spending time with family, friends. Lori spent most of her life in Winnipeg, MB, but she always knew her family roots were at Peguis, MB. Special Thank-you to nurse Ashley at St. Boniface Hospital. Special Thanks to Auntie Sharol, her sister Terri and friend Ivy for being by Lori's side and helping the family through this difficult time. Also thanks to Sister-in-law Leslie who performed the pipe ceremonies. Thank-you to the doctors and nurses at the Health Sciences Centre SICU who provided the tender loving care for Lori. Thank-you to the Peguis Chief and Council for their support. A Sacred fire is burning at the residence of Sharol and Ron Kohoko. Wake services will be held in Peguis on Wednesday, June 13 at Sharol and Ron Kohoko's. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 14, 2007, at 2:00 p.m. at St. Matthews Church in Peguis, Manitoba, with Rev. Barry Bear and Wes Barrett. Cremation to follow as was Lori's wish. Pallbearers: Darren Russell, Josh Sinclair, Jay Kohoko, Christopher Cochrane, Brendan McCorrister, Harold Cochrane Jr. In lieu of flowers, one can make a donation to a trust fund set up in her children's names.
