JEAN TESSIER (nee HUDYMA) August 22, 1925 - June 10, 2007 It is with much sorrow our family announces the passing of our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother at St. Joseph's Residence on Sunday, June 10, 2007, with her children by her side. She was predeceased by her loving husband Louis, who passed away the exact same day in 1990. She was also predeceased by her daughter Doreen and grandson Cory. Mom will be lovingly missed and remembered by her family, sons, Larry (Helen), Ken (Cindy) and Darryl (Darlene); daughters, Linda (Butch) and Sharon (Marty); sister Bernice; all of her 14 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and close friends. Her greatest enjoyment was her children and their families. Mom made many friends over the years and people took quickly to her because of her honesty, sincerity, her warm smile and her patience to listen. Mom was born in Brokenhead, MB, and raised in Ladywood, MB. She was a lifelong member of the 141 Ukrainian Legion Ladies Auxiliary. She lived at Selo Villa for 16 enjoyable years then moved to St. Joseph's due to health problems, where she lived for the past 14 months. The family would like to express their deepest gratitude for the wonderful kindness and exceptional care given to mom by the nurses, caregivers and the staff that supported and cared for mom at St. Joseph's Residence. Thank-you to Dr. Babik, Dr. Krozak and Fr. Isidore. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Thursday, June 14 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, 737 Bannerman Ave., with Rev. Fr. Isidore Dziadyk, OSBM presiding. Interment will follow in Assumption Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Joseph's Residence, 1149 Leila Ave., Winnipeg, MB R2P 1S6, or to a charity of choice. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
