DIANNE BEATRICE GARAND Suddenly on June 11, 2007, Dianne Garand, of Winnipeg passed away at Concordia Hospital. Dianne left behind her four sons, Matthew, Lance, Cody and Connor. She leaves to mourn her common-law husband, Bud Penner; stepchildren, Kaleena and Justin; her mother Julie; her dad Roger Garand (Elaine); brother Randy (Debbie) and sister Denise (Frank). She also leaves her grandma Thérèse De Montigny; nieces, Ashley (Shawn), Jaimee and nephew Dylan, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and special friend Boots. She was predeceased by her grandparents, Romeo Larocque and Beatrice and Lucien Garand. Dianne was a very loving mother, daughter, sister and wife. She always enjoyed going out for lunch with her grandma. Dianne had very little in her life but gave her heart to everyone. If you ever needed anything she was right there for you. She loved her movie nights with her second mom Juliette Garand. She will be remembered for all the jokes she played. She loved to see people laugh. Diane thought her jokes were so funny that she would laugh and cry at the same time. She was so looking forward to being a great-aunt for the first time. Dianne enjoyed spending time at Laurentian Beach with Bud. She was looking forward to retiring there with her Bud-a-Roo. Dianne was selfless and cared for everyone first and will be sadly missed by all her family and friends. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., with viewing taking place before the service at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, 778 Archibald Street, on Monday June 18, 2007, with Father Ron Léger, C.S.V. presiding. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, 304 1 Wesley Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3C 4C6 (phone 231-4885). Dianne I miss you so much.I can still see you laugh and cry at the same time. I see you trying to touch your nose with your lip but most of all I miss you.
