LEONARD VICTOR MURRAY
Date of Passing: Jun 12, 2007
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLEONARD VICTOR MURRAY With sorrow-filled hearts we announce the sudden passing of Leonard Murray on June 12, 2007 at the tender age of 46 years. Left to remember him is his mother Marion Murray; step-father Victor Dyck; sisters, Sharon (Frank) Munsters (Mississauga) and Maureen (Ross) Parbery (Calgary); niece and nephews, Kyle Munsters and Sara and Chris Parbery; step-sisters, Tammy (Darcy) Stupack and Tracy (Kirk) Milkowsky, as well as aunts, uncles, and numerous friends. Len left Winnipeg in his early 20s to pursue his life in Edmonton, Alberta. Recently, his career took him to the Northern parts of our country where his fondest dream was to live near polar bears. In the last few years of his life, Len rediscovered the true joy of his family. He was always up for any excuse to celebrate and was looking forward to a family reunion out East this fall. Some of his happiest days were spent at Balsam Bay, building a rock garden or splitting wood for the warmth of a fire. Having just spent a week at Balsam Bay, before beginning a new work assignment, we know that Len was the most happy and content that he'd been in years. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Len's life will be held Monday, June 18 at 2:00 p.m. at Canad Inn, Transcona, 826 Regent Ave., Winnipeg. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
