Rose was born in Rossburn, Manitoba, on March 19, 1921. She was predeceased by her husband Alexander (Sandy) in 1989. Rose leaves to mourn her passing daughter Elizabeth (Betty) Palmatier and son-in-law Roland of Hamilton Ontario; son Gordon of Belair, MB; grandchildren, Murray Palmatier (Lisa), Tracy Mercer (David), Tamar Vine (David), Brad Murray (Tara), Colin Murray (Karen), Kelly Murray; great-grandchildren, Katelyn, Landon, Ethan, Meghan, Ashley, Rachael, Brook and Sacha; brothers, William (Bill) Grayson, Charles Glushka, Nick Glushka and their families, all of Vancouver BC; plus all her friends. I'm Free Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free, I'm now following the path God laid for me, I took His hand when I heard Him call. I turned my back and left it all. I could not stay another day to laugh, to love, to work or play. Tasks left undone must stay that way, I found that peace at the close of the day. If my parting has left a void, Then fill it with remembered joy, A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss. Oh yes, these things I too will miss. Be not burdened with times of sorrow. I wish you sunshine of tomorrow. My life's been full, I savoured much. Good friends, good times, a loved one's touch. Perhaps my time seemed all too brief. Don't lengthen it now with undue grief. Lift up you heart and share with me. God wanted me now, He set me free. - Source unknown as requested by our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 20, 2007, at 10:30 a.m. at the Gilbart Funeral Home, 309 Eveline St., Selkirk, MB.
