BILL KRILYK July 16, 1938 June 16, 2007 Peacefully with his family by his side, Bill passed away after a battle with cancer at St. Boniface Hospital on June 16, 2007 at 68 years of age. Bill is survived by his wife of 47 years, Pat; two sons, Jamie (Jan, Kayla and Nicole) and Ed (Trish, Devyn and Madison); mother-in-law Margaret McGhie; his brother Paul and family; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends. Bill was born July 16, 1938 in Sarto, MB. He lived a full and happy life, filled with joy and contentment. He worked at Eaton's for 40 years in the meat department as a butcher and manager. He loved to barbeque steaks for everyone when there was any type of gathering. Bill was very proud of his family and friends and would often offer the shirt off his back to anyone in need. Bill was a cub and scout leader with Scouts Canada for many years. He played baseball in his younger years and was a member of IOF as well as #9 Legion for 15 years. He loved goldeye fishing at Dorothy Lake with very close friends, Bill and Deli of 35 years. He was also an ardent snooker player. Many thanks to Dr. Ralph Wong of CancerCare, Dr. Karen Humphreys, and all the caring nursing staff of floor 7A South. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, June 20 at 1:00 p.m. at Elmwood #9 Legion on Nairn Ave. Officiating, best friend, Mr. Doug Fernandez. Pallbearer, Bill Heieie. A private interment will follow. Flowers gratefully declined. Donations may be made to CancerCare at St. Boniface Hospital.   • I miss you Dad. I miss the twinkle in your eye and how you would try your best to hold back a few tears when you were proud of me. I miss knowing that no matter where I was, you were always with me. I miss your words of wisdom and how you had your own special way of making everything alright. I'm a grown man now Dad. Each and every day I try my best to make you proud and truly hope you can see. With every crow that comes by to check in I say hello to you, I miss you my Dad.
