Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANNIE DIDYK (nee BURDENIUK) 1926 2007 On Sunday, June 17, 2007 at the Poseidon Care Centre in Winnipeg, our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Annie Didyk passed away at the age of 81. Remaining to cherish her memory are her sons, John (Carole), and Mel (Rita); daughters, Judy (Leonard), Betty, Florence (Al), Rosanne (Butch), and Debbie (Rob); 17 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Johanna; brothers, Bill (Leona) and Ernie (Betty), as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Annie was born to Pearl and Peter Burdeniuk on May 12, 1926. She lived in Sclater, MB until her marriage to Harry Didyk. They farmed in the Renwer area until his untimely death on May 6, 1968. Subsequently, Mom moved to Swan River where she was employed by the Swan Valley Co-op. In 2000, she moved to Winnipeg where she resided until her passing. Mom will be remembered not only for her generosity and devotion to family and friends, but also for her love of gardening, cooking and baking. We wish to express our appreciation for the care and kindness extended to Mom by the staff of the Poseidon Care Centre, where she lived for almost a year. Cremation has taken place. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 21 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Ignatius Church, 255 Stafford St. A service will also be held at St. Columba Roman Catholic Church in Swan River, MB on Friday, June 22 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place at the Minitonas Cemetery.
