GAIL SAUNDERS (nee FREEMAN) Dearly beloved and sorely missed is our mom and friend, who passed away peacefully on June 17, 2007 at Grace Hospital. Gail was born in 1942 to Sigga and Alfred Freeman in Lundar, Manitoba. She will be missed by many co-workers and congregants of the Shaarey Zedek Synagogue where she spent the last 14 years of her career. She is survived by her two children, Laura (Rob) and Barry (Julia), and three grandsons, Kaleb, Kristjan, and Keenan. She is also survived by her sister Joy (Nelson), and brothers, Calvin, Floyd, Dennis (Barb) and Irvin (Karen); Godson Neil, as well as many nieces and nephews. Gail kept her heart private but you knew that you were in it. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at the Grace Hospital for taking good care of Mom. Donations, in lieu of flowers, can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook Street, Winnipeg, MB R3C 2B7 and the Alzheimer's Society, Unit 10 - 120 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3C 4G2. A gathering of friends and family will take place on Friday, June 22, 2007 at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue. In our hearts you will remain.
