MARY (MARIA) SHOTT (nee KRISHKA) It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our mother Mary Shott on June 16, 2007 at the Women's Hospital at the age of 81. Mom was born in Gardenton, MB on August 28, 1925. Left to cherish her memory is her husband Mike, of 54 years; three daughters, Bonnie (Peter) Tanchak of Rosa, MB, Gail (Nick) Griffiths, and Ruth Franz of Winnipeg; four grandchildren, Allan Tanchak (Tanya Snyder), David (Shelley) Tanchak, Amanda Franz (Mora Nyokong), and Ryan Franz, and three great-grandchildren, Morgan and Branden Tanchak and Isaac Nyokong. She is also survived by four sisters and one brother, Lena Beaulieu of Thunder Bay, ON, Sophie (Roger) Desautels of Dryden, ON, Kathy (John) Ambrosichuk of Winnipeg, Doris (Willie) Boychuk of Sandilands, MB, and Nick (Lorraine) Krishka of Saskatoon, SK, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, five brothers and son-in-law Ron Franz. Her wishes have been honoured, cremation has taken place and there will be no service. A private family graveside service will take place at Brookside Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made to the charity of your choice in her memory.
