ANNE LISECKI March 29, 1934 June 20, 2007 Peacefully Anne passed away at her residence, in accordance with her wishes, daughters at her side. Anne is survived by her daughters, Anita (Peter) and Karen; grandchildren, Michelle and Cody; sisters, Hilda (George) of Burnaby, BC, Helga (Fred) of Winnipeg, Hilda and Trudy both in Austria; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins in Canada and Austria. She was predeceased by her husband Edmund in 1997, most recently by her mother Maria in 2005 and her father in Austria in 1989. Anne was born in Austria, came to Canada in 1957 and met Edmund a year later. They married in 1959 and shared 38 wonderful years together. She was a devoted wife and mother. When her daughters started school, Anne began part-time work at St. Joseph's Residence and retired after 18 years. She was a faithful member of St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church and Kolping Society, and past member of the C.W.L. and Church Choir. She enjoyed bowling and travelling, as well as gardening, cooking, baking. Anne took great pride in her home. The family would like to thank the staff at the Palliative Home Care Program especially Michelle and Tammy Lee for their support and compassion over the past few weeks. Also thanks to the caring staff at CancerCare Manitoba at St. Boniface Hospital. Prayers will be said on Monday, June 25 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 26 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Mountain at Andrews with Rev. Fr. Kevin Smith as Celebrant. Interment to follow in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Anne's memory to CancerCare Manitoba. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
