BEN CASPER Peacefully, Ben passed away on Thursday, June 21, 2007 at the age of 83. Ben was predeceased by his wife Aline; daughter Kathleen, three brothers and two sisters. He leaves to cherish his children, Maurice (Agnes), Gisele (Gary) Foster, Ron (Colette), and also his precious grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters, Violet, Iowna, and Lena. Ben was born June 7, 1924 in Greenridge, MB and married Aline on October 29, 1949. They lived in Emerson and moved to Winnipeg where they remained. Ben worked for Harris Construction for many years. After he retired he enjoyed numerous carpentry jobs. He enjoyed camping with the family at St. Malo and travelling with Aline to numerous parts of Canada for various construction projects. The family would like to thank all of his friends at the Niakwa Estates, Dad's good friends, Paul and Jackie for their big hearts and companionship, and also the Home Care staff for their excellent care and concern. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 25, 2007 at St. Bernadette Parish, 820 Cottonwood Road, the Rev. Fr. C. Fred Olds, celebrant.
