JANE (JEANNIE) WOODHOUSE March 15, 1915 - June 19, 2007 Going Home Peacefully with her family by her side, our loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister and friend Jane (Jeannie) Woodhouse, aged 92 years, entered eternal rest to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Jeannie leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Lena, Hattie (Bernard) Letandre, Grace (Larry) Dodge, Thomas (Verna), George (Violet), Steve (Eileen) and Shirley (Leslie) Sumner. Also her grandchildren: Lorette (Garnet) Woodhouse, Carla Joy (Albert) Cook, and Lee Woodhouse who she raised as her own, her 36 grandchildren, 90 great-grandchildren, 17 great-great-grandchildren, her sister Joyce (Frank) Grouch, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Mom was predeceased by her husband Alex Woodhouse, parents, William and Isabelle Sumner, son-in-law George (Todgie) Traverse, infant daughter Dot, son Billy, grandchildren, Wayne, Lois and Annette, three great-grand-children, and three great-great grandchildren. Wake service will be held on Sunday, June 24, 2007 at 6:30 p.m. Funeral service will be Monday, June 25, 2007 at 12:00 p.m. Both services will be held at the Fairford House of Prayer, Fairford, MB, with Pastor Wilfred Bruce and Rev. Don Gould officiating. Interment to follow at the St. Helen's Cemetery, Fairford, MB. Active Pallbearers will be her grandsons: Tony Thompson, Floyd Letandre, Ian Woodhouse, Douglas Traverse, Alex Woodhouse and Joshua Woodhouse. Crossbearers will be her great-grandsons, Lee Woodhouse and Trevor Woodhouse. Honourary Pallbearers: Mary Stagg, Elizabeth Sinclair, Clara Woodford, Jesse Traverse, Lena McMahon, Grace Woodhouse, Ruth Anderson, Bertha Sumner, Helen Sumner, Priscilla Thompson, Gertie Sumner, Mary Shorting-Sinclair, Marshall and Barbara Woodhouse, Muriel Shorting, Freda and Richard Woodhouse, Ormand Stagg Jr., Colleen Sinclair, Margaret Anderson, Andy Anderson (her Chief), and Billy Sinclair (whom she lovingly refered to as her son), and all who knew her. The family would like to extend many thanks to all the people who offered their prayers, love, support and donations during this difficult time. Your generosity and kindness is much appreciated and will never be forgotten. May God Bless You!
