IRENE GAREAU Irène passed away peacefully with her husband at her side at St. Boniface Hospital on June 21, 2007 at the age of 68. She was surrounded by her family during her short battle with cancer. She leaves behind her husband Trefflé, her son Marcel (Charlene), her daughter Nicole, granddaughters, Amber, Danya, Katie, her grandson Chad, and great-granddaughter Taylor. She leaves to mourn her sister Eva (René), Jeanne (George) and her brother Claude (Shannon). She also leaves to mourn her sisters-in-law, Constance, Flora, Denise, Susan, Donna, her brother-in-law Denis, and many nieces and nephews. Irène was a wonderful wife, mother, sister and grandmother. She was a very gifted craft person. She could knit, crochet and sew beautifully and never stopped doing all those things for her family and friends. If you wanted something well done, you asked Irene and you knew the results would be perfect. The funeral service for Irene will be held on Tuesday, June 26, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Eglise Sacré-Coeur, 424 Brandon Avenue, Winnipeg.
