MARJORIE HAVIXBECK It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, oma, daughter, sister and friend on June 19, 2007 at the age of 59 years. She will be forever remembered by her husband Peter of 38 years, her children, Trish McGuire (John), Trever (Rian), Andria Peters (Todd) and Dean, her grandchildren, Dane, Gage, Kennedy and Tory, her mother Mary and her siblings, Dave (Natalie) and Linda, as well as her numerous extended family and many many friends. Marjorie was predeceased by her father Peter, and her first born son baby Peter. Marge was born in Winnipeg, MB on February 19, 1948. She grew up in St. Germain, MB where she lived, loved and cultivated an extensive community of friends. Always seen ready with camera in hand to capture those tender moments (the smile of a grandchild, a flower in bloom or the lean of a long forgotten barn) in life that she would not want those around her to miss. With a generous heart and a quick wit she made herself constantly available to everyone near to her whether the need was for help and a hug or a joke and a laugh. Marge lived for her family. She was happiest when any occasion arose to bring her family from far and wide together. It is appropriate that her last act on earth will bring all those she loved together once again. A funeral service honouring her life will be held at Saint Timothy's Church, 135 John Forsyth Road at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 26. In lieu of flowers, donations can sent to Skate for Cancer, Allan Blair Cancer Centre, 4101 Dewdney Avenue, Regina, SK S4T 1A3 (skateforcancer.org), a charity drive Marge's grandson is participating in this July. The family wishes to thank those who sent flowers, food and condolences; they are greatly appreciated. You held our hand till we were stable on our feet.
