BETSY VERNA DECORBY It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of our dear mother, Betsy Verna DeCorby. Betsy is survived by her daughters, Michelle Clark (Sean Clark) and Nicole DeCorby (Lance McNabb). Also left to mourn her passing are brothers, Lorne Hilton (Cathy) and Roger Hilton, along with niece Virginia Hilton and nephews, Fred Hilton (Christie) and Ian Hilton. Although, Betsy didn't have any grandchildren, she had four granddogs that she loved dearly: Waggly, Talbot, Mr. Magoo and Gizmo. Betsy was loved by everyone she net and always had a smile to share. She had worked at Manitoba Lotteries Corporation for several years and made many friends. She was known for her cheerful personality and impeccable fashion sense. Betsy never left the house without a matching purse and shoes. She enjoyed looking after her granddogs and spending time with her daughters of Winnipeg and Emerson, Manitoba. Betsy was a loving and caring individual who always opened her door to people in need. She was proud of her daughters and was always there for them. We love you mom and will always remember you and all the special things we did together. We miss you so much,and you are with us in our hearts and lives forever. We've not only lost our mother but our best friend as well. We love you mom and will always remember you and all the special things we did together. We would like to thank her family doctor, Karen Mora'n De Muller, and all our close family and friends who have helped us through this difficult time. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, June 26, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. in Winnipeg. Interment to follow at Brookside Cemetery with a reception to be announced. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
