JOSEPH CLOVIS LAURENT LAFRENIERE September 16, 1923 June 22, 2007 His weary hours and days of pain His troubled nights have passed And in our aching hearts we know He has found sweet rest at last We Love You Dad On Friday, June 22, 2007, at 6:05 p.m., at his residence, surrounded by his family, our Dad slipped into eternal rest with Christ. Clovis was born in St. Francois Xavier on September 16, 1923, but he lived most of his life in the Marble Ridge district. Dad leaves to mourn his children: Ray and Marie LaRocque (Matthew); Doris and Clem Perron (Lisa and Jeff (Sheldon), Meagan, Hartley); Gladys LaRocque (Brett and Laura {Rylee}); Bev and Bill Webb (Clint and Kelly (Tristan, Cassidy), Garrette and Shannon (Trent, Kirstyn), Christa); Irene LaFreniere (Shauna (Dalton), Melissa and Patrick (Landen, Jaden), Cherisse and Dwain (Taliya), Kim and Aaron); Aime and Sherry LaFreniere (Kristen and Eric (Owen), Adrian); Evelyn and Kurt Stoess (Hilary and Rene); Rick and Lori LaFreniere (Page, Averie) and Rick's son Kyle. He is also survived by his in-laws, Tina and Theresa LaFreniere and Mom's family - Joe and Nellie, Fred and Nellie, Ron and Joanne, Edna, Judy, numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and cousins. Dad was predeceased by his loving wife Jane; his parents Alexander and Elizabeth; sister Mary Knowles; brothers, Aime, Jim, Leo and Allan; in-laws, Joe and Rose LaRocque, Oliver, Edward, Louis, Ernest, Alex, Lawrence, Albert and Louise. Deepest appreciation is extended to all of the staff at Percy E. Moore Hospital, also special thank you to Lori Shepell and Donna Lindal, to the ambulance attendants, Tracy Wallack and Lori Prince (Dad's girls), special niece Irene Hofer for providing dad with daily calls, to Fisher Funeral Home for the gentle care and respect given to Dad and the family. Dad's pallbearers will be Clint and Garrette Webb, Adrian, Alex and Hilary LaFreniere, and Shauna Hobden. Prayers will be held at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday, June 27 at 7:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, Thursday, June 28 at 11:00 a.m., viewing 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. with Fr. Michael Raj Savarimuthu officiating. In lieu of flowers, people may donate to the Palliative Care Room Inc., Percy E. Moore Hospital, Box 83, Fisher Branch, MB R0C 0Z0.
