Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARY KAMINSKI Mary Kaminski, daughter of Sam and Jennie Pasechko, passed away on Sunday, June 24, 2007 at the age of 89 in Gimli, MB. Mary was born in Winnipeg on February 21, 1918. She is survived by her daughters, Irene Willison, Judy Johnson (Dennis), Trish Casey; son Alex Tretiak (Stephanie); grandchildren, Brian (Suzy), Sharon Johnson, Greg Willison, and sister Olga McLeod. Mary was predeceased by her parents, her sisters, Sophie Siwak and Lilly Machel, and daughter-in-law Marjorie Tretiak. Over the years, Mary enjoyed numerous hobbies her flower gardens in Charleswood, petite pointe, lapidary at the rock club, rock collecting on the beaches of the Queen Charlotte Islands, and painting. She loved to travel around the country in her VW bug. In later years, bus travel took her on many visits to Irene and Greg in Toronto, and Alex and Marjorie on the Queen Charlottes. According to her wishes, cremation has taken place and no service will be held. Her ashes will be scattered on the beach on the Queen Charlottes, where she spent many happy holidays.
