Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANNIE EDITH HUDSON (nee STODDART) It is with deep regret and sadness, with her family at her side, that we announce the sudden passing of our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and dear friend, Annie, on June 24, 2007 at the age of 89. Left to cherish her memory are her children: Alex and Dorothy Hudson of Castlegar, BC, George and Patsy Hudson of Dugald, Doug and Susan Cranstone of Oakbank, Ross and Agathe Husdon of Lorette, Isabelle and Barry Unick of Dugald; 12 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, sister-in-law Gladys Pingatore of Winnipeg, and brother-in-law Hugh Lamont of White Rock, BC. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph Hudson; daughter Arlene Cranstone; sisters, Nel Lamont, Millie Lamont, Fran Beggs, and brother Sandy (William) Stoddart. Annie was born on July 23, 1917. She married Joseph Hudson on July 18, 1941, and moved to Dugald in 1946 when Joe returned home from the war. She stayed at home on the family farm and raised her family. In later years she worked at Freshwater Fish Marketing Corporation. She left the farm to reside at Kin Place in Oakbank until her sudden passing. A celebration of Annie's life will be held on Thursday, June 28, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at Green Acres Funeral Home with Reverend Janet Walker officiating. Interment will follow in Green Acres Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her six grandsons: Brian Cranstone, Lyle Cranstone, Kevin Hudson, Kyle Hudson, Kasey Hudson, and Barry Unick. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Annie's memory to Kin Place, 680 Pine Street, Oakbank, MB R0E 1J1, or to the C.N.I.B., 1080 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3G 3M3.
