BROOKS WILLIAM GEORGE OLIVER Brooks was granted his angel wings on June 23, 2007 following a short illness. His final days were spent surrounded by family that Brooks had touched throughout his short, yet very memorable life. Brooks will be lovingly remembered by his parents, Devin and Lynette; sister Briana; grandparents, Barry and Linda Oliver and Greg and Hattie Berlinski; great-grandparents, Stanley Gurski and Mary Doherty; Godparents, Uncle Ryan and Auntie Lisa; first cousins, Adam and Sara, as well as many other relatives and friends. Brooks was born in Winnipeg on June 3, 2005 and grew up in Arborg. He was always outgoing and fun-loving. Brooks' gentle smile could melt the hearts of those around him. Brooks could spend hours playing hockey, T-ball, soccer, golf, swinging on his swing, playing with his trucks and doing everything his sister Briana was doing. Brooks loved to dance with his Mommy and wrestle with his Daddy. We love you Brooks, you are in our hearts forever. The family would like to express their sincere thanks to Dr. Beukes and the staff at the Winnipeg Children's Hospital. A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 29, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Ukrainian Catholic Church in Arborg. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Brooks Oliver to the daycare, Arborg Play Group INC., Box 805, Arborg, MB R0C 0A0. Arborg (MacKenzie) Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
