CARMAN ROGER HUNT Carman Roger Hunt passed away Monday, June 11, 2007, with his family at his side, at the age of 77. He was born in Bernie, MB. He married Inez Taylor July 16, 1949. They resided in Winnipeg for the next 16 years. Carman was a milkman and worked for Royal Dairies for 20 years. In 1965 Carman and Inez and five children moved to Hartney, MB, and purchased the Hartney Motor Hotel. The hotel was sold in 1971. Carman went into the cattle business for a few years and then reopened the Hardware in Hartney. In the mid 1980s the Hardware was sold to Carman's youngest son Ray Hunt. After retiring Carman And Inez spent most of his time camping and enjoying life. They celebrated 50 years of marriage before Inez passed away. Carman was active in the community as a member of the Legion and the Elks. Carman is survived by his five children, Dale (Fern) Hunt, Darlene (Ted) Dooley, Wendy (Pat) Murphy, Heather (Kim) Gosnel, Raymond (Donna) Hunt; two sisters, Doris and Roberta. Carman had 11 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Carman was predeceased by his wife Inez in 1999, son Wayne in 1969, parents, three sisters and brother. Funeral service was held June 15, 2007.
