ROLAND MCCURDY 1923 2007 Roland passed away peacefully at the Chinook Hospice, in Calgary, AB, on February 22, 2007, at the age of 83. He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Deborah (Leo) Leblanc, Dr. Wendy E. McCurdy, Dr. Les McCurdy and Corinna McCurdy (Ray Healy), and one granddaughter Genny McCurdy, who was the light of Roland's life. He was predeceased by his wife Dorothy McCurdy, and his daughter Beatrice McCurdy. Roland spent his life as an educator throughout Manitoba, in a career that he was passionate about. The family would like to say a special thanks to Gary and Ruth Campbell of Winnipeg, MB for their special care and friendship. As well, thank you to the Chinook Hospice in Calgary, AB. A Memorial Service will be held at the Trinity United Church, 933 Summerside Ave., Winnipeg, MB on Thursday, July 5, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. A graveside service will take place at the Deloraine Cemetery, Deloraine, MB on Friday, July 6, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. PERSONAL ALTERNATIVE FUNERAL SERVICES Calgary, Alberta (403) 216-5111
