GORDON ERNEST JOHN RICHMOND October 26, 1935 June 23, 2007 Peacefully, in the early morning of Saturday, June 23, 2007, Gordon, beloved husband of Beverley of Lac du Bonnet, MB, passed away at the age of 71. Gordon was predeceased by his parents, Ernest and Jessie. He will be lovingly remembered by his son Bruce Richmond (Kim); his daughter Brenda Robinson (Myles); his granddaughters, Samantha and Leila, and his sister Shirley Augustine. Gordon was born in Simpson, SK. He moved with his family to the Lac du Bonnet area in 1938. Gordon was a carpenter by trade and a gifted Dobro player. He enjoyed many happy hours building guitars and playing and listening to music, especially bluegrass and country gospel. At Gordon's request there will be no formal services. Gordon's family extends a special thank you to Dr. Petkau and the entire staff and all the volunteers of the Pinawa Hospital for their care and kindness.
