KEN HANESIAK It is with deep sorrow, we announce the sudden passing of our dearly loved Ken Hanesiak on June 23, 2007. Ken endured many losses and hardships during the last few years of his life. He found God in 2004 and that helped bring him some peace and comfort. He was a gentle, loving and caring man. We both cherished our six indoor kitties. Ken worked many years for Kliffer Agencies. He was also an exceptional musician. Ken played lead guitar for many years with his band Revival and also with Rick Porteous, in Mesquite. Ken loved working in his flower garden. Ken and his dear sister Catherine spent much time talking about their gardens. He will be missed by all our wonderful neighbours in Highway Gardens Trailer Park. In lieu of flowers, if friends and family so desire, please make a donation to Quagga Stray Cat Rescue, 970 St. Mary's Road, Winnipeg, phone 237-1958. He leaves to mourn his wife Shirley; son Richard; his loving sister Catherine and husband George; loyal and loving friends, Wayne and Loretta Kessler, Tim Miller and wife Patricia and numerous members of his family, his wonderful friends and of course his six pack of kitties, Nipper, Flower, Cricket, Lacey, Smoky and Snuggles. A special thank you to Fred Turner of the best band ever, Bachman Turner Overdrive, BTO . This busy, wonderful man came to visit Ken in St. Boniface Hospital in 2004 at my request. Ken spoke of this wonderful visit to absolutely everyone he knew, often many times over. Fred made Ken so happy for his act of kindness. Ken spoke of this until his passing. I personally, thank you, Mr. Turner. Funeral arrangements will follow.
