DONALD IRISH Peacefully on June 27, 2007, with his daughter Kimberley at his side, Donald Irish Sr. passed away. Dad was predeceased by mom in July 2005. He leaves to mourn sons, Donald Jr. and Ken (Brenda), and daughter Kimberley (Michael); grandchildren, Xenia, Meaghen, Stevie, Cody, Dusty, Trenton and great-grandchildren, Sydney and Cash. In the 1950s dad started Irish Ambulance operating out of the family home in North Kildonan. It later became Reliable Norwood and St. Francis Ambulance and Dad moved the operation to St. Boniface, until the amalgamation with the City of Winnipeg where he became an Ambulance Supervisor where he worked until his retirement in 1992. After retiring dad enjoyed long winter vacations with mom in Hawaii and enjoyed his grandchildren being around for visits and holidays. His sense of humour was like no other and we'll miss him dearly. We hope dad has found his peace. Memorial service to be held on Wednesday, July 4, 2007, at 2:00 p.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home.
