EDNA HARRIS (nee ROCHON) On Sunday, June 24, 2007, Edna passed away peacefully after a brief illness at Oakview Place at the age of 85 years. Remaining to forever cherish Edna's memory are her daughter Doreen Buchholz (George) of Winnipeg; Anne St. Laurent of Prince George, BC; Samuel Robert (Bob) Harris (wife Marta) of Winnipeg; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Samuel William (Bill) Harris; and 10 brothers and sisters. Edna had been a longtime resident of Prince George, BC, and had moved to Winnipeg four years ago to be close to her son and daughter. She had a long and successful life surrounded by a large extended family, most of whom live(d) in British Columbia. Edna was a wonderful mother, a devoted wife, and an integral part of the lives of her many sisters and brothers, nieces, nephews and friends. She loved gardening, cooking, the outdoors and curling. A service for Edna will be held in Prince George at a later date for her immediate family.
